Once in a while we all need to get away from the chaos and chill out in a beautiful scenic location.
In Norway you will find some of the most magical scenery and spectacular views, and soon you will be able to go for a swim surrounded by this while floating 2000 feet over the Lysefjorden fjords.
A new boutique hotel designed by Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio is sure to attract even more tourists to the already popular area, with it’s lounge areas overlooking the beautiful vistas and glass-bottom pool.
The hotel will be built into a cliff 2000 feet over the fjord and will consist of nine suites which can be accessed via the top of the cliff.
It looks to be a peaceful getaway and surely the most exciting swimming experience you’ll ever have.
The studio founder, Hayri Atak, conceived the idea after being shown a picture of the area by a friend who had taken a trip to Norway. He wanted to capture the scene and make it a project.
“Even though I wasn’t there, I experienced the adrenaline of being on the edge” Atak said. “Then I dreamed of living on and beyond the edge. Simply, I just wanted [to] carry this experience beyond the edge and the idea of having this experience inspired me.”
Can you imagine how awesome it would be to go for a morning swim in this pool?
The development of the hotel may begin this year (2020) so you may not need to wait too long before you can add it to your bucket list.
