You Can Now Do Yoga With Lemurs At This Hotel And It Looks Awesome

A luxury resort in England’s Lake District has came up with one of the most unique yoga classes we have seen yet. It’s called “lemoga” and it involves practicing yoga alongside lemurs.

Yoga has boomed in popularity in recent years and is easily accessible to everyone – all you really need is a yoga mat and a focused mind and you’re good to go.

But yoga teachers are becoming more aware that adding a unique twist to it can help to attract more students and make it more exciting.

If the normal range of yoga classes seem a bit boring to you then you might be interested to try out this version, which allows you to perfect your poses surrounded by lemurs, and they even follow along with the class too!

The Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa is located next to the Lake District Wild Life Park, so they joined forces to give guests a truly memorable experience.

Richard Robinson, manager of the Lake District Wild Life Park, said the partnership makes total sense. He told the BBC,

“I don’t think you ever see an unhappy zookeeper. We spend all our time with animals. We know how it makes us feel and if we can give a little piece of that to people then great.”

This class is only one of a range of wildlife experiences that Armathwaite Hall provides to it’s guests. Other options include meet-and-greets with meerkats, walking alpacas around the hotel’s 400-acre grounds, and special sessions with zookeepers.

You only need to look at the pictures to see that the lemurs absolutely love the yoga, and the poses seem to come natural to them.

At times it looks like they are following along with the rest of the class, and when they are not they are certainly having fun interacting with the guests.

We think it’s a great idea – it certainly brings some fun into exercising in a novel way, and who doesn’t love lemurs!
