A bowling alley in Bridgeport, Connecticut, has really taken the bowling experience to a whole new level – underneath an aquarium, or so it seems.
Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl and Grill features a 12-lane bowling alley as well as a restaurant and bar. It’s an unusual place to hang out and spend time with friends and family, but it’s certainly fascinating and some say it’s awesome.
The interior consists of themed lighting that makes visitors feel they’re submersed underwater. The walls are coated with a deep blue colour and aquatic décor such as sharks, fish and coral are suspended from the ceiling. Even the bowling balls have been tailored made to suit the theme.
Their website says:
“Many full lanes of bowling offer a unique underwater ocean experience! Custom bowling balls that bear the likeness of octopus, mermaids, camouflage and more! “Dock” wooden lanes feature underwater scenery of sea turtles, sharks, stingrays, and other saltwater species! Handpainted murals and fish hanging from the ceiling bring everything together for a deep sea dive like no other. You have to see it to believe it!”
